Yes, all our USB-C products are Plug & Play. They do not need software downloads or drivers when connecting to a host device using Windows 10 and Chrome OS (R53 or above), as long as the notebook or PC has all the supporting features built-in to the USB-C port. For Windows 10 and Chrome OS (R53 or above), all adapters are Plug & Play. The notebook or PC may start installing a driver for the peripherals attached through the adapter during setup, but no driver is required for the adapter itself. 

For Mac OS, adapters with ethernet port will need a driver for the ethernet port. This driver can be downloaded from the Apple website.
